Bower Digital Slave Flash SF 328AZ > 4 OLYMUPS

I have a Dimage Z3 with a reasonable built-in flash, but still need another flash for other situations. I was very enthusiastic to find this one on Amazon. And after reading your reviews, I decided to buy one. The shipping was quick b/c I got it in three days. However, since my z3 hotshoe does not fit the flash, I have to use the wireless connection. The instructions about setting up the connection are straight forward and the flash worked like a charm after the set up. I put it in different angles, close and away from my camera and it worked every time. Remember to move the cursor from the N back to other settings or it won't fire. I used it with my Samsung 1050 pocket camera and it worked as well.
I am very happy to get it and would highly recommend it.
I would give it a 5 stars, if the shoe wheel were stronger so it could better be tightened to the bracket. I also think the battery cover is weak and would go sooner for someone who has to replace the batteries more often.

Metz MZ 52831C 28 AF-3 Flash for Canon Cameras

Excellent product and performance, but the instruction booklet is vague and difficult to follow.

Canon 580EX II Speedlite Flash + 8 Batteries & Charger + Flash Bounce Reflector + Precision Design E-TTL Flash Cord + Stroboframe 350 Flash Bracket for Canon Rebel XS, XSi, XT, XTi, EOS 1D, 5D, 20D, 30D & 40D EOS Digital SLR Cameras

I ordered this very late on a thursday night, chose standard shipping and received it on tuesday - so technically it arrived in 3 business days - great job!!

The shipping box was damaged by ups, but the contents were in perfect shape - great packaging by cameta!!!

The included defuser could be explained a little better, it is simply cardboard which uses velcro hook and loop fasteners but I bought an additional Sto-Fen OMEY Omni-Bounce Diffuser at the same time I ordered this kit so that didn't matter to me.

This kit saved me over $250 (quoted price) by buying online instead of locally, which I normally try to keep my business local....but with this republican in office, money is very tight so I am looking for ways to save.

Would definately by from cameta again.

Sigma EF 500 DG Super Flash for Canon SLR Cameras

This is a knockoff of the Canon 550EX flash. It works great. I've had mine for three years now...and it is always trusty.

It uses Canon's E-TTL-II information just like My Canon 550EX flash...in fact I use it with the 550EX all the time.

It is such a great flash for the money I am buying another one.

I gave it 4 stars because it feels cheap and more "plastic" vs. my Canon 550EX, and it cycles slower than the Canon...but for the money it is a good unit.

Wireless Flash Trigger Receiver - 4 Channel - Comparable to Pocket Wizard Multi-Max

Actually, I bought an Alzo Wireless Kit and one of this extra receiver, they are pretty useful. I have it for my Elinchrom D-Lite to Go set and I can say they really go for the distance announced and they failed just for a couple of shoots (One of the receivers have failed each time), wich is not a big issue, I know even Elinchrom Skyports fail sometimes, is seems to be normal.

It work in the four frequencies announced like a charm.

The only bad thing I can say about them is that the receiver may trigger themselves if you move your light with them on, probably because of the cord. This is why I didn't give 5 stars, but is really not a very big deal, you can attach them to your lights.

If your shooting with flashlight and you're a little short on budget I can recommend you this trigger kit hands down, you will not regret it. Is really cool not to be dragging a cable around in your shoots ;)
