Plenty of power, It makes my Canon S5-IS able to shoot groups at 15 feet and greater. This is the reason I chose Canon over Fuji (my usual choice). Fuji does not see the need to offer a hot shoe on a point and shoot camera! If you dont have a lot of money to spend or you simply need an economical , easy to use flash unit; I recommend this one.
